A virtual meeting space for collaborating technicians, with management of 3D prototypes of modified motors and live projections of torque curves resulting from those modifications, on virtual screens.
The solution
The modified 3D model was supplied by the client in SolidWorks format; every optimization required for virtual management was performed in-house — including animations of internal motor components, dynamic zoom, and graphic linkage to the resulting torque curves.
Technology
Standalone VR viewers
Oculus Quest standalone headsets were set up and provided to each participant. Every operator was guided step by step through connection and full meeting management.
Avatars
Realistic presence
Participants are represented virtually by their avatars, realistically representing each person inside the shared virtual environment.
